The Smile Of Mutation, Ho Chi Minh Museum of Fine Arts, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam

is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice includes painting, graphic design, video, sound design, poetry and performance, often accompanied by multimedia installations. They explores materials that evoke collective memories, by ultilising found objects such as fabrics, used items and toys. With the desire to nurture spaces of empathy and a sense of belonging in the modern post-Internet society, they explore emotions and thoughts of innocence, especially when placed in potentially dangerous contexts. From there, they invite viewers to join a transformative journey of healing and self-discovery.

Tam Do graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts with a major in Graphic design and then began to explore other materials of visual, sound and most recently, performance art. For Tam, performance is immediate and creates strong connections and transformations between performers and participants in the performance space, beyond the boundaries of traditional theater.
